Cebu Normal University cancelled football game during Intramurals due to lack of athletes.
Johndyll Christ Lorete, CTE football player revealed the reason for the cancellation of the game. “Dili man mapa-igo ang players, gamay ra ang players sa CAS, CTE, Medellin ug Balamban, unya walay players and Nursing,” he said.
Though disappointed, Johndyll confided to The Normalite Times, that that team was still motivated to practice because they aim to be hailed as champions in the upcoming Regional SCUAA and Nationals.
PREPARATION FOR SCUAA
The team is striving hard to practice despite of the lack of financial support from the school, conflicts of schedules to practice and players not coming on time during tune-up.
Amidst all difficulties during trainings, the players get to improve their capabilities and drive to get to the top of their goal and be declared as champions with the help of constantly understanding each other and teamwork.
For the time being, the team is continuing their trainings, scheduling it during Monday, Wednesday at 4pm to 8pm and Saturday, Sunday at 3pm to 8pm.
