Arnis is one of the Filipino martial arts which was formed by the Filipinos as a way of defending themselves from foreign countries who tried to conquer and capture our freedom.

Nowadays, it was mainly seen in many competitions around the Philippines to commemorate our past; celebrating our independence from the Spaniards and other countries who tried to desire us from our sovereignty.

Meanwhile, the winners of the Arnis Competition will be competing for the upcoming State Colleges and Universities in Athletics Association (SCUAA).

"Uhm, actually we are preparing as early as now, we are already started our training because we know the school is looking forward to have another gold again in National SCUAA. I will not promise na we will bring golds in National SCUAA, but we can promise that we will do our best to get all the gold medal in the Regional SCUAA; Note: The National SCUAA and in behalf to all athlete, not just the arnis group, I would like to say something to the teachers; that we hope that you will consider our absences because we are not just bringing our name alone, we are bringing the name of the school because our main problem is that we are afraid that, mang-gamay among grades due to excuse days. Thank you and God Bless,” said Andro Rey Piencevanes, one of the champions from the CAS Department in an online interview.
