The College of Arts and Sciences remained in its reign in swimming competition both in men and women division during Intramurals last September 16, 2015.

The CAS department kept their record as undefeated for several years upon getting an overall score of 355 for men's division.

The CTE department coming next with the score of 341 and CNU-Medellin campus ranking third with the score of 261.

Meanwhile, the women's division was also the same as the men's division. CAS got 342 points, followed by the CTE with the points of 306 and CNU-Medellin with 209 points.

Though, CAS encountered difficult times in the 200 LC Meter 4x50 Free Relay, they were still able to gain their applauding strength in the 200 LC Meter 4x50m Medlay Relay wherein both men and women division ranked first.

The men representatives finished at 2:45.00 while the women representatives got the total time of 3:16.15.

Terrence Gabriel Hermosa, one of the CAS representatives and a gold medalist in the men's division in 100 LC Meter backstroke, defeated last year's allotted time of the College of Teacher Education and retained his record as the fastest in 100 LC Meter breaststroke with the total time of 1:26.80.

Caim Hermoso, also from the College of Arts and Sciences is another gold medalist in 200 LC Meter IM in women division, 100 LC Meter butterfly and 50 LC Meter butterfly. "Stress relief? It's nice to have something else to do when you're not busy with school work. Great exercise pero without the hassle sa stinky sweat so feeling fresh pa japun." she said when asked what’s the greatest advantage of being a swimmer as a student. (Stress relief? It's nice to have something else to do when you're not busy with school work. Great experience but without the hassle of stinky sweat so I'm still feeling fresh.)

She will also represent the CNU in the SCUAA event this coming November. "Actually, na select na ang swimmers for the CNU swimming team based sa result sa intrams and naapil ko." ( Actually, I'm part of the CNU swimming team because they are basing on the intrams result.)
